What is the Hitachi Young Leaders Initiative (HYLI)?
HYLI is a premier youth leadership program offered in partnership by Hitachi and Publicis Groupe Philippines. It brings together outstanding undergraduate and graduate students for an immersive experience focused on pressing regional and global issues. The 2026 program will adopt a hybrid format:
- Online Pre-Conference (Feb 12 – May 7, 2026):Â Engage in preparatory meetings and mentor sessions virtually.
- In-Person Conference in Cebu, Philippines (May 24–29, 2026): Experience the core of the program with expert forums, workshops, and cultural exchanges.
Theme: “FLOW AS ONE: What’s next for a sustainable future?”
This year’s theme challenges delegates to explore practical and innovative solutions for sustainability, technological advancement, and inclusive growth. You will delve into issues aligned with key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and present your ideas to professionals from business, academia, non-profit, and government sectors.

- You have a strong academic record and a passion for leadership and sustainable development.
